Age relaxation and Concession: (i) Reservation, relaxations and concessions for SC/ST/OBC/PwBDs candidates will be applicable in accordance with reservation policy of the Govt. of India. (ii) Period spent on working against any post in the project/scheme or on contract/daily wage basis in BHU including broken period of service rendered as indicated above may also be taken in to account for the purpose of age relaxation for appointment to the posts in Group-B in regular establishment provided that one stretch of such service is for more than six months. (iii) Maximum age for BHU permanent employees will be as follows: For Principal- 55 years, For PGT, TGT & PRT- No age bar for permanent employees of BHU. (iv) Age relaxation to Ex-Servicemen shall be applicable as per GoI rules.
Educational Qualification/ योग्यता :-
Principal Essential Qualification: A. Academic i) Master Degree from recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate. However, for Principal Shri Ranveer Sanskrit Vidyalaya (K), the candidate must have Masters’ Degree from recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in any of the following subjects: Vyakaran, Sahitya, Jyotish, Veda, Darshan & Sanskrit. ii) B.Ed or equivalent teaching degree from NCTE approved institution. B. Experience (a) Persons holding analogous posts or posts of Principals in Central/State Govt./Autonomous organizations of Central/State Govt. in the Pay Level-12 (Rs 78800-209200); OR (b) Vice-Principal/Asstt. Education Officers in Central/State Govt./Autonomous organizations of Central/State Govt. in the Pay Level-10 (Rs 56100-177500) with combined services of 05 years as PGT and 02 years as Vice-Principal; OR (c) Persons holding posts of PGTs or Lecturer in Central/State Govt./Autonomous organizations of Central/State Govt. in the Pay Level–8 (Rs 47600-151100) or equivalent with at least 8 years’ regular service in the aforesaid grade. OR (d) 15 years combined regular services as TGT in the Pay Level-7 (Rs 44900- 142400) and PGT in the Pay Level–8 (Rs 47600-151100) out of which 03 years as PGT. AND (a) For CHBS- The experience must be either in a co-ed school or a ‘boys only’ school. (b) For CHGS- The experience must be either in a co-ed school or a ‘girls only’ school.
PGT Essential Qualification: 1. Two Years’ Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject; OR Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects: a) PGT (English)- English b) PGT (Hindi)- Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduate level. c) PGT (Maths)- Mathematics/Applied Mathematics d) PGT (History)- History e) PGT (Economics)- Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics. f) PGT (Psychology)- Psychology g) PGT (Darshan)- Darshan, Nyayavaisheshika, Prachinanyaya, Vedanta, Mimamsa, Samkhyayoga. h) PGT (Physics)- Physics / Electronics/Applied Physics/ Nuclear Physics. 2. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from NCTE approved institution. 3. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi & English medium. However, for Shri Ranveer Sanskrit Vidyalaya (K)- Proficiency in teaching in Hindi & Sanskrit medium.
TGT Essential Qualification: 1. Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate; OR i) Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects and in aggregate. The electives subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects as under: a) For TGT (Sanskrit): Sanskrit as a subject in all the three years. b) For TGT (Hindi): Hindi as a subject in all the three years. c) For TGT (English): English as a subject in all the three years. d) For TGT (Urdu): Urdu as a subject in all the three years. e) For TGT (Social Studies): Any two of the following: History, Geography, Economics and Political Science of which one must be either History or Geography. f) For TGT (Maths.): Bachelor Degree in Mathematics with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics. g) For TGT (Science): Botany, Zoology and Chemistry. h) For TGT (Home Science): Home Science. i) TGT-Agriculture: Agricultural j) For TGT (Vyakaran): Vyakaran as a subject in all three years. k) For TGT (Sahitya): Sahitya as a subject in all three years. l) For TGT (Jyotish): Jyotish as a subject in all three years. m) For TGT (Veda): Veda as a subject in all three years. n) For TGT (Darshan): Darshan as a subject in all three years. ii) B.Ed. or equivalent degree from NCTE approved institution. 2. Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. 3. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium. Primary Teacher (PRT) Essential Qualification: 1) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). 2) Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. 3) Proficiency to teach through Hindi & English medium. However, for Shri Ranveer Sanskrit Vidyalaya (K) proficiency in teaching in Hindi & Sanskrit medium.

A non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 1000/- shall be paid online by the candidates of UR, EWS and OBC categories for Group „A‟ posts and Rs. 500/- by the candidates of UR, EWS and OBC categories for Group „B‟ posts. No application fees shall be charged from the candidates of SC, ST, PwBDs categories and women candidates. The application fee is to be paid through the payment gateway in online application through Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI.

POINTS TO NOTE Those candidates who have applied against earlier Advt. No. 24/2023-2024 dated 01.02.2024 need not to apply again, however they may update their application form. Their eligibility and other terms and conditions shall be considered on the last date of submission of application of the said advertisement. Applicants must carefully read and follow the General Instructions to the Candidates accompanying the advertisement before submitting application in the online mode. All applicants except for those from SC, ST, PwBDs categories and Women candidates are required to deposit a non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 1000/- shall be paid online by the candidates of UR, EWS and OBC categories for Group „A‟ posts and Rs. 500/- by the candidates of UR, EWS and OBC categories for Group „B‟ posts through the payment gateway in online application through Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI. The positions advertised vide Advt. No. 06/2018-2019 for different Schools of the University for which selections could not be held, have now been treated as cancelled/withdrawn. Applicant, who have paid application fee against the earlier advertised positions, may claim for refund of their application fee. A request letter may be sent to the Joint Registrar (RAC), BHU on email ar.rac@bhu.ac.in indicating their post details, transaction ID No. with bank account details.
